Hi All!
I have the Fix S100 for my canon S100 point and shoot camera. I want to add some macro lens but I am lost where to start....and what kind of macro lens and what brand. Anybody can give some advise?

cheers,
M

Do you have just the housing as is or also a lens adapter? The fix housing has an M52 thread if you don't want to get a step up ring the only lenses I know that are that size are made by epoque. If you go to M67 the choice is wider. It you could also have a bayonet adapter to LD or AD mount. Have you got any wide angle lens in mind?

How close is your(S100) FIX housing to my S95 FIX housing....I shoot WA & macro on my S95 setup.....get back with me if they're close(& I'm thinking they will be)....

I use an S95 with Ikelite housing (M67 thread), and I use an Inon UCL 100 macro lens. Gives +10 magnification and it doesn't vignette on my housing. Not sure if it would be the same with your housing, but I'm pretty happy with it!

Thanks for the reply. I am completely lost. So now with this reply, I can start researching on the on the adaptors so i can have more choices of lenses. Thanks!!!

I don't know how close since i don't have an s95 :( but I'm guessing the lens should be similar and only the buttons are slightly different. what are you thinking?!?;)
