My old camera is a Canon G1 (=3.2 MP) and I just a bought Canon 10D (=6.3 MP) . I a novice despite the new purchase. I started looking at housing for the old and new camera. The G1 Ikelite housing seems to be around $500 and the 10D is $1500!!! I then looked at underwater digital cameras with 3.3 megapixels Sealife Reefmaster 300 with the housing included for $400-500. I assume there are some amazing things one can do with a housing a for a G1 that one cant do with a Reefmaster? If so do you have to be an experience photographer to know how to use the G1 in a housing so that it makes those more wonderful pictures ?
