Hi,

I would be able to get this Canon set for quite cheap price from my friend who is no longer able to dive. The only thing between me and the camera is that I can't find information on if it is possible to attach a wide-angle (whats-it-in-english) to the housing. Is that possible or not?

I'm pretty sure you can attach the wa and macro lenses to the Canon housing. To double check perhaps contact Ryan at www.reefphotovideo.com - he's a great guy.

If it's anything like the other powershot series... no... I have had powershots A60 and S1 IS with the underwater housings. Absolutely fantastic cameras and housings. Best bang for the buck. If you're looking for the ability to change lenses and such, you will need to spend lots of money on the higher end stuff. But, been using them for a while and will continue to buy the new models. They are great for what they are... An out of the box u/w setup that's easy to use the first day...

Not the first or the last time I've been wrong. All I know about the Canon is the oem stuff. Haven't looked for the aftermarket stuff, I just grab it and roll over the side and start snapping shots. It's a fantastic inexpensive point and shoot and shoot and shoot. I'll take at least 200 shots per dive, depending on time. And also 200+ shots on the ride out and in.
