I was wondering if anyone has this camera and if so how well does it work for underwater pictures? i was thinking of buying it but thought i would ask people first.

Bump I have the sd1200is, did you end up getting yours? I am about to get the canon UW housing this week.

Which add on flash for under $200 is recomended?
I am not aware of any add on flash under 200 dollars except perhaps for the Intova unit and I have heard mixed reports on it.

Yea I have been looking at it wherever I can. 150 for strobe, arm and mount. Worth a try since none of the rewiews are hating it :/

I got the 1200 for my wife last year. She has only taken ambient light shots with it, but has gotten some good results:
