I'm new to underwater photography, so forgive this beginner question: I just bought the Canon housing for my G-9 and tried to remove the main o-ring so I could apply the silicon grease and try it out. But I don't seem to be able to remove it. The instructions warned me not to pry it with fingernails or other objects, and the picture showed 2 fingers squeezing it together, but that didn't work. Any suggestions? thanks.

Oh, you're just not trying hard enough. The two finger bit does work near the corner usually. Yes, it is not the easiest but after half a dozen tries I usually get it.:D Maybe wipe excess silcon off the o-ring?

I use a c-card or credit card... Others use guitar picks...
