I went to the canon e-store to purchase an underwater housing for my powershot sd850is and was emailed a priority code(which was for an additional 10% and free ground shipping). I was unable to enter it. At the end of the transaction it charged my credit card/atm immediatley even though the product was on backorder and it said on the receipt that it would not charge until the item was ready to ship. I tried calling Canon and received a recording to call back during standard business hours which were monday - friday 8am-5pm est. I tried again on Saturday to try and correct the problem and received the same message. I called on Tuesday and talked to a customer rep. He said they were closed over the weekend for the holidays and that he would fix the order. He then put me on hold for about 7 minutes and came back and said he was no longer able to honor that code because it was a special for the Memorial Day weekend. I told him I did order it on the weekend on the internet and tried to get assistance by phone. I said there was nothing he could do. I have been buying only Canon products for 30 years and my family also only buys canon DSLR and point-shoot as well as other products. We will no longer buy if this is how they are going to treat repeat customers. Extremely disappointed in a company as large as Canon would treat their customers so poorly especially in this times
