With regards to protecting the O-rings and keeping it clean, as well as not warping the case etc:

How do you travel with the camera?? Closed? Open? Shut with camera in it?

According to the manual, you are suppose to travel with the housing closed. Which I have done for the last 1-2 years and never had a problem. Remember to keep the o-ring in good condition, because it seems canon does not sell o-rings for the camera. :-(

Hmmmm, Canon sells o-rings for my Canon housings A20, A70, A75...

I take the oring out, stick inside the housing and then close the housing. I do this to store it for long periods, too.

I usually carry my camera as I want it outside the housing.
