I have tested this set up on land (yet to hit the water) and I am getting overexposed images and I'm not sure if the STTL is working. I intend to shoot macro only. Here are my settings

I set them up in the manual mode then set them to a C1 setting.

Shutter 1/250
Aperture F8
ISO 80
Flash control medium, 1st curtain.
Red eye off
Spot AE - Centre
Macro setting
Flash on.
Strobe setting STTL Low.
0.5 diffuser.
I am using the canon housing and a fibre optic cable.

I'm not sure if setting them up in manual is preventing STTL from working. On the Inon website it talks about setting the camera to the P setting for STTL. Unfortunately On that setting there is no control over aperture or shutter speed, which the camera automatically decides upon, and nearly always chooses an aperture of 2.8 and shutter speed of 1/60th.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
