Hi - I've a Canon G5 which I have housed.

I'm curious as to what folks recommend for white balance?

Currently I'm using the sun setting for shallow brightly lit water and the cloudy setting for water below 10 meters. When I use my strobe I use the flash setting.

Is that what most people use?

I heard the other say that it may be better to use auto white balance - thoughts anyone? Thanks.......Iain

For Natural light shots I would think about using the manual white balance. Or since you have a G5 just shoot RAW and test which white balance you want when processing later.
