has anyone tried a Canon Powershot G11 in a WP-DC28 housing? my g10 died on me, and now i am stuck with a WP-DC28 housing. The dimensions of the cameras are very close, except G10 is about 2mm taller than G11. Button configurations are very similar too.
Any one had tried this with success?
Please let me know...
thanks guys...

I wish I could answer your question, but hope that someone can. My G10 is acting up upon startup, and I am looking at having to get a G11. I agree, seems silly when dimensions are within millimeters.

I have a G11 and WP-DC34 housing. If you need any dimensions let me know I also have a pair of calipers and can measure. Good luck.

I've got a Dc28 and tried it with my assistants G11. Didn't fit, but it was close. It might be possible to modify the housing a bit but IMO it's not worth the risk.

Yeah, I would be VERY hesitant to modify a pressure housing. Certainly cheaper to replace the housing than flooding a camera. Amazing how tiny clearances can make such a difference. Thank you for providing that info.

Can this take a wide angle and macro lens attachments?
