Canon Finally Releases 15.1 Megapixel EOS 50D

We have been reporting the rumors for months now - the 50D is finally official. With Photokina right around the corner we're going to hear about many new releases including Nikon's D90 and most likely a D3x or D3s. It's that time of year again, hang on tight and enjoy the ride of your old DSLR becoming discontinued as the new regime takes over...

Now tell me something nice... like it is the same size and configuration as the 40D so when I upgrade I don't have to buy another housing. LOL!

From what I understand the body is nearly identical. You should be able to, but I am not 100% sure just yet.

50D didn't 'finally' come out...it came out and could have came out in 6 months or a year. The 3D/5dmkii should have 'Finally' come out

Actually, rumor has it a 21MP 5D Mkii is on the way

nod...just got a used 5D housing really cheap. Debating dumping it back on ebay before anything else comes out considering I don't even have a 5D(was looking for a used 20D housing) and getting a 50D housing...another camera I don't have but is more in my price range.
