You may want to do some more research. The issue with this camera seems to be the "slow autofocus". In an article even Canon admitted sales of this camera have been "disappointing". That said I have yet to shoot the camera personally.

Oh yes, I'd certainly want to see some underwater use before I made an investment in the system. Not wild about the specs on the zoom lens anyway. The f2 22mm seems more to my liking.
 
Also be aware, the "Canon Rumour Mill", is in full swing at the moment about a revised EOS-M, new DSLRS, and some sort of new "mini DSLR".
