The camera body is a 6D

On the lens, I have a choice of 0.31m or .48m

What should I choose?

Does the best setting change if I use an external wet lens?

Thanks in advance

I always used the closer of the two (0.31m) when I used that lens with my 5D. Using 0.48m could potentially slightly reduce focus hunting, but you also lose around 6 inches of minimum focus distance using AF which is potentially a big deal for small stuff. The port I used with it had MF capability so I could also twist it back into shape manually if it ever got really lost.

No idea on wet lens configurations, sorry.
