I've been happily taking photos with my Canon Powershot A640 for quite some time. While I do love this camera, it doesn't offer me the complete control I'm looking for.

Some features I'm looking for...

TTL support for my Ikelite strobes

Manual shutter control...I'd like to photograph lightning as well, and from I've read having your camera on a tripod with a chord attached to manually open and close the shutter based on how long you hold a button is the best way

Biggest chip size for my buck

And any other points trusted canon users can point out...

Thanks!

Take a look at some of my photos from Bonaire too!
