ChrisA:How much do you want to spend? A high end systemwill run about $800. More if you want two strobes and you eventualy will want two. You could spend $1,200 for a pair of Inon strobes, try arms and sync cables.
Sealife makes a model "SL960" and Internet price is $290 and that includes the tray, arm and fiber optic sync cable.
I have a Sea and Sea YS90DX that I bought used for about the price of the SL960. I like the YS90DX. The light output is very controlable and it could be used either with a fiber sync cord or with a Nikon style or Sea and Sea style TTL sync cord.
A focus light would be nice for night diving but a low power divellight and a rubber band is easy to rig up.
meterman:will the sea and sea strobe work with the a85?
