morning all
i have an opportunity to get a canon a75 and housing for less then 300 dollars. i already have a HP digital, and would like to get one that i can use for diving. does anyone have any experience? any suggestions as to what external flash to use?

is there a better way to spend the money?
thanks in advance.

Buy it. Unless you plan on doing large blow ups, (bigger than 8 x 10), you won't need more camera, and that is a steal.

hey photo, i picked it up last night, curious as to what you'd recommend as far as external strobe flashes. i know a lot of people have made recomendations for expensive equipment. i'm not afraid of spending the money, just want a bit more feedback as to why.

thanks

Inon D180 - has an auto mode which is pretty effective and also has a few manaul controls. It has a focus light which many find very handy. It is a very powerful flash for it's small size - easy to travel. It has a 100 deg circular coverage which is great for those wide angle shots (a diffuser to get an extra 10 degs).

Finally it is relatively inexpensive compared to similar type products. For good prices and advice go here www.uwdigitalcamera.com.

thanks for the input. i just got the housing and camera, so i'll be able to start testing soon. i'm going to portage quary with the michigan group so that'll be the first test
