i am just getting back into diving. I have the above point and shoot camera and just ordered the case. I didn’t want to jump right in and get a case for my DSLR right away but stay with something compact. Does anyone have any experience with the above equipment? Comments?

Thanks, Mike

I guess no one uses this combo. No matter-they are dated. Once I get a chance to use them together, I’ll post a review here for all the other “old school” people’s benefit....

The issue might be specific to the WP-DC34 housing, which I have, and it leaked when new. I did the fix described and no issues since. Prior to doing the fix myself, I did contact Canon and after the housing got shipped literally around the U.S., it came back to me after three weeks with a note saying that Canon doesn't fix accessories.

I would definitely test the housing empty before putting in the camera. If it leaks, there will be water inside after the dive. Don't use tissue paper inside, as it makes a mess, but more sturdy paper, like paper towel.
