Ok I'm just starting out, and need a little help to get started.
I have a Canon A570IS with CHDK installed. I upgraded from a Hanimex 35 mm with an Ikelite Substrobe S. I wanted to keep using the strobe, so I built this armature assembly (see photo).
Which settings would serve me best for macro, for close shots, and for longer range shots? I thought I read that some have put the camera in Macro mode and left it there even for no macro shots. Will this work?
