I am confused.

Your website says that the maximum diameter of a lens that will fit into the Ikelite ports is 3.3".

The Canon 15-85 has a maximum diameter of 3.2".

Yet your website indicates the 15-85 is too large in diameter to work in the port.

Can you please explain to me what I am missing?

TIA

TIA,

The Canon 15-85mm lens will indeed "fit" into our port bodies, but you will not be able to "work" or zoom it. A zoom lens that is 3.3" in diameter or less at it's largest point will fit, but the zoom ring diameter must be 3" or less to allow attachment of our zoom clamp and sleeve.
Unfortunately the maximum diameter of your lens "3.2" is also the zoom ring diameter.

You can choose an alternative lens/port combination here Canon SLR Port Chart, or use your lens at a preset focus distance such as 15mm.
