Just recieved my Cannon A60 & WP-DC700 housing in the mail and cant wait till this weekend and try it out. Question, the housing has a flash difusion plate. Does anyone have any suggestions for when or not too use the difusion with flash? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you're using an external strobe, always use the diffuser. If you don't, the light will be concentrated over a small area of the frame directly in front of the flash, and the rest will be encased in shadow of the lens port. And if you are using an external strobe, then you'll be blocking the built-in one alltogether with a reflector. HTH.
