Edit: Actually, it is Playa del Carmen!

Been to Cozumel before but wife wants to go to something more lively as she was bored in Cozumel after a few days.

I will be staying at the The Grand Riviera Princess. I believe it is close to the ferry terminal if I need to get to Cozumel for any dives there. What's a good operation on my side of the water?

What should I be looking for or looking to stay away from? I know the cenotes are on the mainland side. Not too sure about them.

Thanks

My friends own Planet Scuba Mexico near Playa del Carmen. Good guys and they know the dive sites very well. I’m a cave guy, so I usually do that when I visit. The cenotes are definitely worth checking out since you’ll be in the area. Another friend runs Playa Scuba Club, between the dive shop and my friends little social club thing, they should be able to get you all taken care of for your visit :)

As the date gets a little closer, do any of the shops pick you up? I'll be at the Grand Riviera Princess. Google says it is 10KM from the ferry dock, a little far to walk.

Yeah, a bit far, dont you think?
The guys from Planet Scuba, awesome people, and a really amazing place to dive, thanks for the advise.
Greetings from Argentina guys, excuse bad english.
Genov.

Actually working at: Scuba Cancun

As a follow up to this, we just returned from 9 days in PdC at the Grand Riviera Princess. I worked with Karla of Blue Life to get our dives setup. We did a 2 tank ocean dive at Moc Che (deep and shallow) and the next day we did the cenotes, Dos Ojos (batcave and barbie lines) and then The Pit. The light was perfect for the pit and visibility was amazing. Leo was our guide both days and he did a great job. Frank picked us up at the resort the first day and Leo the second day. Excellent gear, excellent service and I couldn't ask for a more delightful time.

Next time I'm in Playa, or the Yucatan in general, I will be giving them a shout!
