I don't have the answer yet, but have also been curious. Just got the Canon housing for our SD870 and still have a Fantasea CP6 housing, so I plan on measuring the lens barrel on each. At first glance they seem to be the same size. I'll post the sizes when I measure. We're in the process of organizing & test packing for our upcoming Cozumel trip so s--t is spread out everywhere at the moment. Maybe this evening when I get home from work.

What's the diameter of the port? OD or screw in ID into port? The WAL-02 is 46mm and there are adapters for it to some ports like this, that either screw in or go over the outside with a oring fit. I googled around but couldn't find the specs.

Let me know and I can figure it out for you. And get you a good price.

No, I don't think so. I have that housing, there are no threads on the port.

It is supposed to be used with the Inon AD adapter which wil fit the Inon 105AD WA, 165AD FE AND 165AD macro.

No, it can be used with other adapters, Inon is just one. Fantasea lenses (which is nearly identical to the 105SD lens) and filters fit many Olys and Canons. I just need the OD size then.

The port has no threads but if it is simply the OD of the port that you need I can get that for you. No, the Inon 105AD lens is a bayonet mount that uses the AD adapter. The Inon 100 type have threads that fit I beleive the 67mm diamter. These I am not as familiar with since I have only held them in my hands once.

I looked for other adapters, I don't see them, perhaps I do not understand your needs.

The metal ring is 2 1/8 inches diameter. The upper portion of the metal ring is truncated. The port extension increases in diameter towards the case, cone shaped if you will. Again, neither the inner or outer portions of the metal port ring are threaded.

The Inon DC12 AD adapter slips over the port and then is held in place by a plate that extends under to the tripod socket and tray assembly. If you remove the screw from the tripod socket the cone shaped port extension allows the DC12AD adapter to slowly work forward and fall off or easily pull off by hand.

I just ordered and should recieve in a day or so the Ikelite housing for the Canon 570IS (I have two of them). This housing uses the 67mm thread ring. So, I have just the opposite problem, I will have to fabricate/machine/invent/dream an adapter or port or whatever to adapt the AD lenses to the 67mm threaded port.

One other thing, I have held the Fantasea housing for the Nikon P5100 but not side by side to my DC12 housing. It is my opinion --by eyeball--that the two ports are the same diameter or very very close and the metal ring sure looks the same--but--I did not do a side by side.

Good luck.

Hi all...got home & measured both housings. Now my canon housing is the DC17 so you'll need to check the measurements on the DC12 for comparison. Both the DC17 & the Fantasea lens tube are 2 3/16" wide & 2 1/16 top to bottom. At first glance, the Fantasea looked smaller, but it must have been because the trim ring is black, whereas the Canon is silver. There is a considerable difference in the size of the lens opening though.....the Canon being 1 9/16 as opposed to an inch on the Fantasea. I believe the lens your looking at should fit with the press on adapter that Fantasea makes for their housings if your dimensions are the same.

All of these housings have different port diameters, and I need them exactly in mm. Most new Fantasea housings are 46mm ID.

But I agree with one of the adapters it should fit.

O.D. side to side, 54MM. Top to bottom, 51MM. (metal ring).

Clear port diameter (I.D.) is 37MM.
