The Midwestern Research highlighted in the news piece is the first of its kind in the world and is in the process of being published. We have to start somewhere right?
Absolutely, and I am not saying there are no benefits. I am only saying that of right now, there is no peer reviewed studies that show diving, or the "hyperbaric" aspects of diving will provide any relief. Diving and HBOT are not quite the same effect on a person.

False and/or early hope can be devastating for folks looking for something definitive. It truly has to be presented honestly and with caution IMHO.

Fair enough, You're right, more peer reviewed research is needed which is why our goal is to build a deep warm water therapy pool so that we can replicate some of the benefits we see in open water. After working with hundreds of young people with Autism we have seen some amazing things. The research just has to catch up...:)
