Heheh.. Hello everybody! Newbie here so giving a quick quick introduction/greet!

I was born and raised in the South Bay Area (California) and currently reside just right outside of Sacramento. Just got my open water certification done last weekend in Monterey at Breakwater and had a blast! Looking forward to my upcoming adventures along the California Coast on down to Mexico! Once i get those handled I will pursue other Countries (FIJI, Philipines, Egypt?)..Take Care!

Welcome to Scubaboard :)

Are you going to continue to dive your rich in life cold local waters? The diving here is on par with almost anywhere in the world on the right days.

I would love to try warm water asap! I guess just do cold dives now since there are a lot of local places.

Do you recommend any good beginner warm locations? Maybe somewhere in Mexico since I can see myself going out that way soon!

I would heavily weight where you choose to go by the topside activities that you also want to do. At least for me I like to have a vacation be more than just diving and lounging. If you do want it all about diving Bonaire is probably the best bet, although air fare is more expensive.
