The plastic flange that connects the inflation hose to the vest broke on me this weekend. I think it can be gluded back but I'm not sure if it's safe to repair by myself. Is there any shops that repair BC's? It's an old Dacor but in very good condition.

If the part that broke is on a "removable" item, it can be easily replaced. Don't bother trying to fix it, repair parts are (or should be) inexpensive.
If it is the piece that is bonded to the bladder, cost of replacement of the bladder (if you can find one) may wind up inspiring you to go shopping for a new BC.
There aren't any places that I know of that would attempt a bladder repair.

Yes it's removable but it looks like it's part of the inflation hose setup. Now where can I find stores that carry these parts?

TIA

If you check your local shops you might be able to find something, I wouldn't shell out more than $25 or so though.

I'm on the road right now, I'll be back in CA in a couple of weeks.
When I get back out there I can toss you the e-mail of an outfit that can fix you up.
If you still need parts in 2 weeks, drop me a PM.

I would not under any circumstances try to glue it. It's a really bad place to have a failure and the odds of having another failure with the repaired part is excessive in my opinion.

Most of these assmblies are pretty standard and/or can be easily replaced with a similar assembly that will fit the existing hole in the bladder. Check with your local dive shops. Many shops will strip the dump valves and inflator related parts off old BC's or worn BC's that they retire from rental. They will often provide the parts and do the repair at no cost for a regular customer. If a used but serviceable part is not available in the shop, a new part can most likely be ordered as again they are pretty standard on most BC's. The cost should be less than $25.00.

I would send it to the MFG. The result will be one of three things:
1.) They will repair it and charge you. Done by experts and no worries.
2.) They will give the BC its last rites and notifiy you of the burial site.
3.) They will give you a new BC. My 2 year old BC sprung a leak and I sent it in for its annual service and mentioned the very small bubbles comming from under a flap. They sent me a new BC.

Thanks for all the replies, I took the BC to the LDS and they said they will try to order the part for me, should hear back from them today. I also contacted the manufacturer, and like the previous poster said, they want me to send them the whole thing so they can repair it. Didn't mention anything about cost, so I'm asking them about it now.
