Can anyone recommend a video light for an ultra-compact housing.

I am planning to buy an ultra-compact Ikelite housing (10-15cm along various dimensions), and looking for a video light to go with it. The recommended Ikelite Pro-V8 seems too weak at 500 lumens, and I wonder if even 2x of these will be enough. The more expensive Ikelite Pro-2800 seems too bulky, the battery pack is larger than the housing. Bonica G8V15 seems like a good value at 1500 lumens for $400, and I like that it runs on regular batteries, but from customer reviews, it sounds like it is prone to flooding and failures. I have been looking at Bibglue VL-1800, but I wonder how practical it is to have to rely on a custom battery pack (will it last for multiple years, will there be a replacement available), and I do not like the fact that it is so elongated, seems it will also be making the entire setup kind of clumsy. I have been thinking about 2x Nocturnal Lights SLX 800i, for a total of 1600 lumens at $600 or so, I like that again it turns on regular batteries, it looks nice and compact, but there are few customer reviews, and it looks like the intensity of the beam cannot be adjusted...

Miley:

I'm not sure if you've looked at the Light & Motion 1200's but this video was shot with two of them. This is in a cave, so no surface light is available at all. i think the lights light it up pretty decently for cheap. Watch the top video. That's a GoPro with two L&M Lights.

The Nocturnal Lights units are very solid. There are two ways to adjust the intensity but both have to be done before the dive. The lights will work with only 3 batteries, cutting the power in half or you can change the internal reflectors and change the beam angle. They produce plenty of light.
