Can any of the 'birds be my PADI AOW instructor?

I was curious since I am only PADI OW and I have been wanting to get my PADI AOW for some time. Any of the 'birds certified to instruct me to get my PADI AOW card?

Yes, I have the book and have been studying it off and on for the past few months. I would like to pursue this after I get more and deeper dives under my belt later this month and/or this Fall when the boat traffic slows down somewhat at Lanier.
I was planning on doing more dives here recently, but we had a family tragedy(my youngest brother in Covington, age 48 with a long time alcohol problem, committed suicide about a month ago). This was very much a shock, since I was under the impression from what I thought I knew and saw about him that he had quit drinking sometime ago. His wife had never let myself or my other brother know that his problem had come back. Would it have changed things if we had gotten him help again, who knows maybe or maybe not. I have to trust in the LORD with this situation.

So right now it's all I can do to concentrate on my work. But, I want to pursue my PADI AOW later this year when I get my bearings better and can think clearly again.

Could we do the 5 check-out dives for AOW at Lanier later this Fall?
As I mentioned earlier I haven't diving as much as I would like
or need. I really need to get some deeper dives in my logbook at Lanier before I do my AOW deep checkout?

We need to set Date in Sept. or Oct. & Deep dives I do @ Lake Jocassee ( it's safer)- or go to Key Largo on Sept. 27th thru 30th - leave Atlanta Thursday night- need more info. I can send you a flyer-

Thanks Clif. I'll try to make time to see if I can get more dives done in the next month or 2 to get my confidence back up.
If not, I'll have to do this later in the Fall or after the 1st of the year. I'll let you know. I'm not trying to be vague with you, it's just very tough trying to get back to normal with what I've been through in the last 6 weeks with my brother's death. I sold my Sea-Elite BC a few weeks ago and will be picking up my dream BC this weekend, A ZEAGLE Ranger LTD.

ohhhh a Ranger LTD, i used my friends a few weeks ago in Florida, i loved it, unfortunately it is a bit out of my range, and i still like my Escape, but everything is on hold atm as i got a speeding ticket today :X
