Why not camp right on the river?

Have you booked already? Prices? Site #. We plan to try and reserve in the next day or two.

Cobaltbabe. Looks like a nice park, but a little pricey (or maybe I haven't been camping much lately:) ) $22 for 2 adults, plus another $5 for our two kids. My brothers camped near where we keep our boat last weekend. Six (3 adults, 3 kids) with a tent trailer and a tent, on a single site was $21.00

Down from the Legion hall near the Conny.

Its free and theres toilets. Bring your own drinking and cookeing water. Don't setup camp untill later in evening, and break camp early.. It is a park after all. 730 truck stop is just a short drive away for super cheap breakfast, showers, etc if you want them.

No fires, no showers. Bring a small camp stove.

Only downside is the high concentration of dog and goose landmines. Which can make it slightly dificult to locate place to drop your tent.

Probably where my wife and I will be.

Sounds like a day use area, are you sure they allow camping? We plan to hang around till Tuesday, so setting up and tearing down every day really isn't on. However, if we can't get a site elsewhere it provides a backup plan.

There is another campground closer to Brockville, it's on Hwy #2 west of Abucs (about 3klm) it's called Happy Green Acres full facilities including washrooms with hot showers, they charge $10. per night for a tent site for divers, swimming pool as well.
