Are they a couple now?

We have friendly harbor seals, but not that friendly.

Big ol' dog-mermaid.

We had one of those this spring. He stuck around the same diving spot for weeks. He was biting divers. See the movie. Eventually he was caught and relocated as he became dangerous to the divers.

Wow that is crazy. I know they have sharp teeth, but here they just nibble. We have had them follow us nibbling on our fins for 30 minutes. Never seen or heard of anyone being bloodied, nor any drysuits torn to pieces :shocked2:

It was probably an animal that had been cared for in a sanctuary. As the numbers were declining in th North Sea a sanctuary was founded 20 years ago where all abandonded puppy's are brought and raised. They had a policy for years to keep them to long. Last year they changed this and now they put them back at quite a lot younger age. But they are not endangered anymore, we see quite a lot of them....
