For example Spoon, in this instance --especially in the wild currents of Palau/Peleliu-- helping out to round-up other non-DIR recreational divers separated from the Group, taking them through their Safety Stops and deploying an SMB from depth, the DM's and Boat Driver's are very much grateful for those efforts.
 
well said bro and i get your point but there are also many non-gue divers that are just as capable if not better. its also not right to assume that ALL gue trained divers are more capable than their peers even though they go through a more thorough and intense training regimen. why am i saying this? ive seen my share of dir screwups as well and if these guys were in palau the dms would be cursing them instead of guiving em accolades and lauerel wreaths.
