Check this website out - aerial photography of most of California's coastline, searchable by GPS coords, or drilldowns from a map.

Must have been a weekday - there's not a single diver, and usually the grassy areas are covered in diver's gear. I've counted 150 divers there before.

Pretty cool, huh? Now I just need DSL and a week to browse potential new dive sites!!! :D
 
but really slow, even with a T1 line. You may need a week just for downloads, and another week to actually browse the pictures!:D cool link, thanks

I think the site is still looking for a permanent home - it's only been up a week, and is living on donated hosting space at the moment. The newspaper article said there's about 99 CDs worth of pictures - about 64 GB or so.
 
my dsl is bringing it up fairly quickly. if only it was in real time so we could see the dive sites before leaving the house. YES I am LAZY !!! =-)
