It is pretty impressive that he understands the fundamentals of a caisson, did you explain it to him?
 
He will need to be suspended by a line or something, because without that water pressure on the sand underneath, the whole of the bottom of that is going to turn to quicksand very quickly as it seeps around the bottom of the caisson and boils - swallowing that boat and most other things on the bottom within the caisson! (Until the hydraulic gradient is safe again).
 
Don't forget to bring a spear gun to spear all those fish that are flopping around on the bottom.
Also, I think I recognize that wreck. Isn't that the Doria...?
