Quick update on diving out of Cairns in particular the Ribbon Reef area.
Currently Mike Ball has been the only Operator running to the Ribbon Reefs. No real changes apart for their Covid policy now states as of January next year all passengers must show proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid (crew from December).
Good news is Spirit of Freedom will be returning to offer their excellent trips from April next year
For those able to travel interstate Ocean Quest is running a 1off 4 day 4 night Ribbon Reef trip Friday 12 November – Tuesday 16 November. Awesome trip for those wanting to see the best of the Reef.
Outer Reef trips still available as are day trips and will be increased trips during September / October school holidays, so lets hope those borders open soon. Missing our interstate diving fraternity up here!
