Im going to Cairns in November, looking at 3day/2night liveaboards in the $600 price range. Any suggestions? Im currently looking at ProDive and Oceanquest.

Any help, opinions, and suggestions are appreciated!

thanks!

suggestion would be to up the budget and go mike ball. if you're coming all this way there's a lot to be gained for spending an extra $400 and not diving sites that are trampled to death

I agree with Bracko here. The trips that visit the Ribbon Reef areas are by far the trips. Taka is a budget boat to these aras and visists same sites as Mike Ball.

If you do decide to go for the Outer Reef trips then Ocean Quest and Scubapro are the best of the pick.

Here is a bit of info about them all with links to the pricing Cairns Live Aboard Over Night Dive Trips To The Outer Barrier Reef, Cod Hole And Coral Sea.

Should give you some ideas, but remember November is peak season.
