Any more affordable alternatives to Mike Ball's Dive Expeditions that would be comperable? We would love to bite the bullet and just book it but we cannot afford it! We want a eco-friendly outfitter with a small group that focuses on the outer reef for a 3 nite/4 day trip. Any suggestions?

Try Taka. I understand that they are a bit less luxurious than Mike Ball, but still dive similar sites.

I have not done Taka or Mike Ball yet, but have done the research and I decided to go with Mike Ball this summer (Australian).

What time of the year are you considering visiting us here on the Great Barrier Reef. That may effect costings.
