Cairns Area Live-Aboards - Also Fraser Island

I am planning a trip over next February. I will do a 4-Day live aboard. I have read some of the other threads, but would welcome any recent recommendations.

From my reading, it seems Mike Ball is a fan favorite and Taka is good for budget minded divers.

I am not on a strict budget nor am I a high roller - If I did the Mike Ball I would stay in the "Budget" Twin with shared head.

I do like the idea of a nice boat, and like they schedule 14 dives on the 4 day.

Also my friend, who is a Hungarian student in Sydney, said she wants to dive Fraser Island if we have time. Can anyone tell me about this location?

When I Google Fraser Island with a "dive" reference I don't get anything substantial. Anyone have any experience with this place?

I did find the Dive Operator out of the Hervey Bay area. I guess they call it the Sandy Straits there and it is very tidal waters.
