Trying to get an idea of what cab fare will be from the hotel to town, the turtle farm, and any other points of interest. Kinda have the vacation narrowed to Cobalt Coast and Anthony's Key Resort. We'll probably spend one afternoon and evening in town, and a few side trips to Hell and the Turtle Farm. I doubt we'll do many shore dives that would require having a car since we both will want to do other things in the afternoon. Probably one afternoon on the house reef and one at the other site too. Thanks for your input.

No idea on the cost of a cab but I'm sure Divetech could tell you if you Emailed them. Believe there are also mini buses that run up seven mile beach??

Most people just rent a car.

cabs are expensive in grand cayman.I just rent a car from budget at the airport.

They guys at Dive Tech let us bum rides to and from the Turtle Farm. No charge, but we still gave them a few bucks. Even though the ride in the back of the truck was bumpy. They even gave us rides to and from the boat dock for boat diving.

I agree, it's a good place to just rent a car.

We were just there and took a cab from CC to downtown (post office to be exact). Our cab fare was 32 USD. We rode with a Dive Tech staff member to Lighthouse-Dive Tech when they were headed that direction. We think we will rent a car on our next visit- just for the last two days. This would give us the option to explore more.

If you're doing a package with Cobalt Coast they usually include airport transfers in the package price. If you do the AI meal plan at CC you can get by without renting a car. Divetech will drive you between their two shops for shore diving. There is a little shuttle bus that is pretty good for getting back to CC from town - only a couple of bucks and for an extra buck the driver will take you directly to the hotel instead of dropping you at the stop.
