Hi

Here are 2 pictures that i have taken this autumn in lake Ontario near Picton. The wrecks are of the Frontenac and the City of Sheboygan. The shots were made with a Nikon D70 and a 10mm f/2.8 Nikkor lens. No strobes are used. The weather was cloudy.

Please comment on these shots since i'm always trying to improve.

Spectacular composition, clarity, detail and lighting. I would agree with Kukuisa for the second one, the diver doesn't work that well as a silhouette as he does in the first one. Maybe just pull up the shadows in that area a bit in Photoshop.

Thank you for your comments. I have downloaded a couple of tutorials to learn how to manipulate images in photoshop since i'm not an expert with the software.

Try adding some flash with Adobe photoshop "elements".

They look on the dark side to me. Removing some of the shadows gives them more details.

ditto.....give em a little lite.....

I agree with the comments but I think they are great shots, they have heaps of atmosphere, helped by the decision to present them in black and white.
