i just got my housing for it....it's an ikelite....neat...but seems as if the AF-illuminator is blocked by the lens port.....weird....wonder if this affects the focus....

ie.....you try to take a shot in the dark, and the orange focus light is quite blocked up by the housing....hope this doens't mess with my pics....aiyaya!

will keep you posted...

JacobsonC2:
anyone using one yet?
I bought one a few months ago, with the Olympus housing. I've only really had it in the water for the UW Photography course. Since this is my first UW photography rig I don't have much to compare it to, but I like both camera and housing so far.

I've been using the Oly 8080 with the Oly PT-23 housing for the last 10 months, and am very please with the results. I have done about 40 dives to a depth of 30m in the UK and the Red Sea without a single problem. The housing is large, but all the camera controls are easy to access. The image quality is fantastic and I have printed off images 80cm x 60cm.
I have recently added a Inon Z-220 strobe and the MikeDive TTL converter. The whole set-up works brilliantly.
