Hi

We are travelling to the BVIs on March 31st for 2 weeks. We are hiring a yacht for the 2 weeks and will be sailing around the islands stopping off at a number of dive locations for a spot of diving.

My question is Are the dive sites well marked. I have read alot about each site but are they all marked with mooring bouys and are they all easy to find.

I would appreciate so information from anyone who has dived there.

Thanks

Neil

Neil,
yes and no. I can tell you of one site where there a couple of extra buoys that add a little confusion. (not the Rhone!) My advice would be to pick up the Lonely Planet guide or something similiar in any of the dive shops. though I do have to say I have not been too impressed with the dive shops in Tortola, where you are probably renting the boat.... Two weeks is plenty of time, you'll have a blast!
Rendezvous diving is another way to go to make sure you have a good dive. All the DM's know the spots and can maximize your chances of finding the stuff described in the books... good luck...
