A friend is travelling to Bonaire in the next couple of weeks and, as he doesn't have his own kit yet, was looking at buying some items while he is there. The logic being that the exchange rate with the pound is good for us at the moment.

I wondered if there would be much availability of kit to buy or if the prices will be higher than normal and wipe out any exchange rate benefits.

Anyone got any input on kit availability and prices on Bonaire that I could pass on to him?

I would highly suggest Bruce Bowker's Carib Inn to purchase items. He has excellent pricing. You can basically buy equipment all over the island at most dive shops. Each carriers, same to different brands, so it all depends on what you want to buy and what the budget is.
