Has anyone done this? I can't figure out how to remove the pins that hold the wrist straps (and I don't want to force anything!!!).

It seems that this comp is ideal for converting to bungee. If I can figure this out I will post some pics detailing the procedure.

Thanks for any help or ideas in advance

Ok, the good folks at Aeris answered my question. I used a small nail and a small rubber mallet to 'tap' the pins out. Worked like a charm.

THEN, using a similar method to the excellent Vyper bungee conversion posted on this forum, I installed two 1/8" bungees criss-crossed under the pins. Worked like a charm. I had to adjust a couple of times to get the perfect fit.

After I got the perfect fit and tried it both with skin and with my 5mm.. I IMMEDIATELY switched back to the watchband it originally came with.

I felt that the bungees were very hard to slide over the hand, and when it did, seemed like it was stressing the connections and pins.. plus, when it was all the way on, it didn't really have a good fit on bare skin and was quite tight on the 5mm.

The huge watchband it comes with, is actually really well made and fits great, I just thought the bungee thing was an awesome idea and had to try it out.

To each his own!

If anyone wants any details or pics on how to do this easily, just let me know.
