I just recently purchased a Dive Rite Rec Wing and it came with a bungee cord with handles on the ends. The purchase came from a online auction. What is the cord used for?

The "handles" should be little spring loaded adjusters to let you adjust the length of the cord. It is not much use when the wing is used for doubles, but will help reduce the taco effect if you use the wing with a single tank.

With some minor rethreading and shortening to bias them to control the top half of the wing, they also work well if you convert a transpac/rec wing to a Nomad configuration.
