Hi,
Has only one been diving in Bueford since they installed the boardwalk.Interested to know how the access is now compared to walking in 7 years ago?
Thanks,Jerry

You still have a long walk. The road is blocked and a cart helps to get your gear there. The boardwalk takes away to swamp walk and gets you right to the sink. There is a ladder on the deck that gets you in the water too.

It's actually Buford Sink and the distance is approximately a quarter mile. Bring repellent.

MOD EDIT=> Thread title corrected

Dove Buford, couple times since new boardwalk. Went today and water is black due to rain. We hit Hospital Hole instead. As mentioned, Bug spray!!!!

Tried to dive it 2 weekends ago but viz was bad. Spoke to someone at Diver's City and he said the water didn't clear up til 120 ft. Hoping to dive it after the rainy season when viz is back to normal.

Boardwalk is nice and the tram road from where you park to the boardwalk is nice and hard packed. Definitely recommend carting your gear in if you can.
