I use Buddy phones and they are reliable but can be less effective if the diver is behind a rock or ledge or in a wreck. I also use the OTS military grade units that have a different frequency and they are even better. For bulletproof com it is hard to bear hard wire comm but then you are tied to an umbilical. Depends on what you are doing I guess.Buddyphones are good quality for the money and do work well.
