In honor of our own Ontario Diver I offer this missive:

Seems an irrational fear that stems from a common misuse of the ever deadly drysuit has paralyzed certain folk.... and left them bound in soggy neoprene....

Others braver tackle the beast... binding it with straps and gaitors in an attempt to subdue its incessant attempts to kill them through inversion and uncontrolled ascent....

Weights applied liberally to the ankles are still no match for the tremendous power of the beast....

Weights applied liberally to the torso help those with butts but the buttless live in fear and can only rely upon lightening reflexes and knee flexion....

Weights inserted into the surface life vest (miss-named The BC) has the additional effect of rendering that floppy device even more unstable and deadly to remove UW....

Swimming in the bubble is laborious and dragging the sagging life vest along only adds to the drag created....

Turning and churning... flipping and dipping... rolling and righting...

No wonder OD stays safely cocooned in his cold wet foam wrapper.
