Finally released the accident report for the UK (not just bsac) from Nov 2005 - Nov 2006.

Some things off it.
---
16 recorded fatalities (4 of them bsac members) bringing the number down to around the long term average after 2 previously high years. At least 1 of those incidents, possibly 2 were heart attacks.
3 were people that became negatively buoyant and sank.
7 of the cases involved unplanned buddy sepration.
2 cases involved out of gas
3 cases involved DCI
---
379 total reported incidents with DCI and Ascents making up the majority of them once again.
21-30m depth range had the highest amount of incidents although "unknown" is 3x that figure.
---
Difficult as lots of incidents have multiple factors such as out of gas leading to rapid ascent etc.
That said ascent incidents are still high which seems to be a trend for a while now.
