Finally dove Brockvile/Mallorytown. After quite a bit of diving this year and a month off for surgery I was finally able to do Brockville and I gotta tell you guys that live there/near there, you are so spoiled compared to what we dive in this neck of the woods!
My Brother in law gave me the call early in the week that we were to go on a mission to get to Brockville fast dive, dive, dive and get back for Sunday. So Friday we head out after work early and hit the 401 by 5 pm and to my surprise we make this trip in 6 hours with a boat in tow. We check in to a cottage we rented and crash for the night. Saturday morning comes and we are fast to do the Kingshorn, Daryaw, and Keystorm all done by 6 pm. Sunday morning we are up at 7 and do the Keystorm again cuz once on this awesome wreck wasn’t enough! We are packed and on the 401 back to Windsor by 11 a:m. Made it home by 5 p:m mission accomplished! I can’t wait to go back when we can actually get more then a day and a half. The vis was incredible and the wrecks are fantastic. We already have 2-3 trips in the works for next year.
:mean:

No argument about the keystorm. A fabulous wreck. I dove the keystorm a couple of times on Saturday too. I was with a charter from Abucs. You may have seen us there from about noon-3pm. We were the ones with the burgers going on the barbeque on the deck.

[snip]

I was more than pleasantly surprised by the area myself this year. Even though it's a 9 hour trip, I'm looking for excuses to get back a few times next year.

We had to make special arrangements with the customs office at Alex Bay.

We took one from Abucs. We got their slower and smaller boat which was $65 per person, which included a bbq lunch. I think for their larger boat it is $1000 for the boat, with up to 20 divers. So if you can get together 20 people it is $50 per.

Glad we brought our own boat! Cost us $15 in fuel to do 4 dives on our boat:)
