On October 20th of this year, Brandon Finch passed away as the result of a SCUBA diving accident while diving in Skaneateles Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Brandon was 16 years old.
Brandon started SCUBA diving in July of this past summer, and took the open water certification course with his mother Sharon Finch. Brandon and Sharon enjoyed several dives together in the months leading up to the accident.
When Brandon passed away, he was diving with his mother's equipment. Sharon would like to continue to enjoy SCUBA diving, but as you can imagine, the thought of using the gear her son was using when he passed away is interfering with those plans.
Please consider contributing a small donation so that we can purchase Sharon some different gear. Sharon would really like to continue to enjoy exploring the underwater world, so lets help make that happen.
