Hi Canon users.
I have a question for you. After months of searching I have bought for my Canon G15 and housing, all the Inon wide angle lens kits. But yesterday when I was mounting it on the old standard tray I have realised that the mount does not fit therefore I cannot use the arm tray for the flash.

Do you think i just need a bigger tripod screw that could hold both camera, new mount and arm tray for the flash or should I buy a new arm tray? And what would it be a good suggestion?

And do you know where I can find any Inon instruction manual in English?

Thanks
Eddy

Depends what housing you have and what tray you are using?

If you just need a larger threaded screw you can order off diver vision but then I imagine your tray slot would be too small.

When I upgraded from a canon oem housing to a recsea housing I had to order a new tray that took two mounting screws rather than one.

Hi thanks for your reply. The system is a standard for compact. The house is the Canon G15 wpdc48 with one screw hole where I normally screw the camera to the arm tray base. The arm tray is a base with the attachment for the flash. Now if i attach the mount lenses the only hole available is gone and the screw is too short so i cannot fix anymore the house to the base.

I would like to hear about your results (and see some pics!) with the G-15 and the Inon macro lenses. I have a G-15 in an Ikelite housing; am considering one or more macro lenses; would like to know how it works out for you, please!

If you look through the various pics on my fb page you can see many if my macro shots. Most were taken with the Inon UCL 165. I use a nauticam housing with their flip adaptor.
